Today, we are breaking the ice with Gary Luk, our PMO Leader. He's been with us for 2 years!

  1. What's the coolest thing about your job?

One of the most rewarding parts of my job here at Arctiq is the opportunity to lead a talented and dedicated group of project managers. Each and everyday I get to witness the value they drive for our clients  with each successfully completed sprint.

It's also great to be part of an organization that is serious about fostering a culture of  collaboration, and continuous improvement.  And Arctiq's PMO is very much part of that journey with the goal of not only continuously improving on internal processes, but also helping to ensure that our clients are happy.

  1. What's your favorite hobby outside of work?

One of my favourite activities during the winter is snowboarding. My happy place definitely involves seeking out powder in the glades and bowls.

  1. What's the best advice you've ever received in ten words or less?

Work hard, stay humble, and be kind.

  1. If you could switch roles with someone for a day, who would it be and why?

If it was for only one day, I wouldn’t mind switching roles with a travel vlogger / influencer. While we may all be aware of the answer, I’m interested in discovering for myself whether the adventures portrayed are truly as authentic, luxurious, realistic and enjoyable as they seem.

  1. What's a fun fact about you that most people would not guess?

I've been an avid traveler for most of my adult life. I caught the travel bug back in my early 20's and have since had the privilege to be able to explore parts of 68 countries across 6 continents.
