Today, we are breaking the ice with Jamie Farkas, our Inside Sales and Sales Operations Manager. She's been with us for 2 years and 10 months!
- What's the coolest thing about your job?
I love that I get to work with so many different people across the organization with my role and responsibilities! It’s really interesting to see how the different groups all work together and how they view the different aspects of the company. I consider myself multi-passionate and sometimes have a hard time sticking to one thing, that has never been a problem with Arctiq. The leadership lets us try new things, get involved in projects, implement ideas and really see where we can grow.
- What's your favorite hobby outside of work?
I don’t know that I can pick just one, I pick up new hobbies regularly! The big ones are plants, gardening, knitting, crochet and macrame. Lots of people have seen me crocheting on calls over the years when I get a little fidgety :)
- What's the best advice you've ever received in ten words or less?
Just show up and do the best you can everyday!
- If you could switch roles with someone for a day, who would it be and why?
I would love to see more of HR/Culture (but only the fun part) for a day. It would be amazing to deliver great news, see all of the amazing things happening behind the scenes and helping to build the company culture. It’s a lot more around the people side of the company rather than the sales side of things.
- What's a fun fact about you that most people would not guess?
I had my motorcycle license and would drive around on a Kawasaki 440. Unfortunately my shoulder froze and my M2 lapsed before I could get my full M, but it’s on my list to redo. See you on the country roads friends!
